The international lineup of Faze Clan obliterated all opposition at ESL One New York on September 17th 2017.

After a roster shake-up during the player break in August 2017, a rebuilt Faze Clan swept the other seven teams at ESL One New York to win their first big trophy. The final was won three maps to nothing (16-3 Inferno, 16-14 Overpass, 16-4 Mirage).

Bosnian star Nikola “Niko” Kovač shone throughout the series and posted an impressive +37 score. Norwegian Håvard “rain” Nygård and the Danish leader of the team, Finn “karrigan” Andersen both put up +19. Andersen was elated as he was interviewed moments after the victory:

- It was amazing. I do not want to say. We have not lost a single map this tournament.

The win secured 125 000 USD for Faze. The international lineup is now in the running to be the first winners of the Intel Grand Slam, a feat which will go down and history and earn Faze Clan one million dollars.
